just got a '75 16-ft starcraft super sport. i'm not much of a boater, but i'll give it the shine, then take it out once or twice, but the real score is the matching '75 70hp evinrude.
*not mine, but identical
any ideas what i should do with 3 cylinders of 2 stroke goodness? i'm thinking either a sandrail or beetle...but woohoo!! boat!

Not much of a boating expert but my grandparents had one for a few years and nothing beat taking that thing up to 45mph on a sunny crisp morning on a placid empty lake. A lot of fun! Enjoy it!

i've heard the 2 best days of boat ownership are the day you get it and the day you get rid of it. haha. but i plan to enjoy it, might even enjoy fishing out of it if i can keep a designated driver around.

That's what teenage kids are for! And I have heard the same statement about classic cars. It is probably true but it give you some good memories congrats on the purchase!
